Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager to join our IT team in Bucharest. This role is crucial for managing and delivering our IT infrastructure, including servers, Azure and Oracle cloud resources, and database services. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent leadership abilities, and a strategic mindset to drive our IT initiatives forward.
Key Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the maintenance, optimization, and performance of all IT infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers. Cloud Services: Manage and maintain cloud resources on Azure and Oracle platforms, ensuring high availability, security, and cost-efficiency. Database Delivery: Lead the delivery and management of database systems, ensuring data integrity, performance, and backup strategies. Project Management: Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines. Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for IT infrastructure-related matters, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Compliance and Security: Ensure all IT operations comply with relevant regulations, standards, and security protocols. Incident Management: Develop and implement incident response plans to address any IT infrastructure issues promptly and effectively. Lead and enhance ITIL processes, ensuring effective Incident, Change, and Problem Management practices Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation and process improvements to enhance service reliability and efficiency. Datacenter & Data room management coordinating with the site management team.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management Proven experience with Azure and Oracle cloud platforms. Strong knowledge of database systems and delivery management. Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in a related field. Relevant certifications in cloud technologies, ITIL, or project management (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, PMP). Experience in a multinational company or a large-scale IT environment.
