We are now looking for a Service Manager to join our team and drive the IT solution for our store scales, used by our employees and customers all over the METRO world, to weigh the ultra-fresh articles in the stores and production facilities, in an efficient and user-friendly experience. You will be faced with the great chance to manage a project that impacts the productivity in the stores via hundreds of scales and multiple software solutions used to power them, by leveraging the great partnership with the top vendor in the market.Your new challenges:As a Service Manager, you will be the essential link between the local country teams and SaaS vendor providing the solution.Working with us means that YOU are the mastermind who knows what will make the business prosper, what's technically possible and how to make it happen, leveraging the team's capabilities.Once you've got the right vision, you have the autonomy to create your solution strategy, draft a roadmap, set priorities and objectives and enable the resources to make it happen, all of this at eye level with our customers.You are a great fit if you have:Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Product Manager or SaaS service managerGreat fluency in English both written and spokenExperience in managing products in an Agile environmentA good understanding of the technology capabilities and product life cycle /start-to-end app development process;Willingness to travel in Romania and abroadProduct Oriented DNA: You pragmatically design the product vision and roadmap. You are able to use experimentation techniques to validate assumptions. You have a continuous discovery focus and user-centricity (willingness to apply human-centered product design). You are expert on market trends & industry best practice. You maintain a critical perspective to drive revisions and extensions for existing products and solutions. You have a data-driven mindset, with focus on metrics and concrete results to define successAnalytical skills and IT know-how: You have an affinity with IT solutions, and are familiar with software development concepts. You are analytically strong, able to grasp complex topics. You can translate often confusing and complex as is business problems into simple and structured to be process descriptions.Communication skills: You actively engage with multiple stakeholders in the product teams. You have great listening skills. You have the know-how and the seniority to be accepted by users as a competent counterpart. At the same time, you are able get acceptance for your proposals. You are resilient, you overcome initial resistance to change.Technical Skills: You have basic knowledge and understanding of technical engineering best practices (e.g., test-driven development, continuous integration, etc.). You are familiar with cloud-based technologies and microservice architectures.Leadership Skills: You always aim to deliver the best measurable results.
