Service Parts Specialist – Consultant FurnizoriDescriptionJob Description Provides worldwide service parts support for less complex new product launches and current product. This role has primary responsibility for shipments through the Rumst Parts Distribution Centers (Rumst is the primary source for CGT global parts shipments and role will also support global parts shipments when required) QualificationsIn this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Provides worldwide service parts support for current product in the field, while interfacing with manufacturing plant facilities, the Distribution channel, Original Equipment Manufacturers, end customers, Parts Distribution Centers, Joint Ventures, Purchasing, and internal customers. Ensures that worldwide service parts support for customers, Original Equipment Manufacturers, and the Distribution channel is available at first shipment for less complex new product launches; Develop with support product stocking and forecasting projections. (10%); Parts Set-ups – Manage weekly administration of parts set-up for customer orders. Key Account Support – Support key accounts and day-to-day requirements VPI/VPC Projects – Lead aftermarket parts on all deliverables for VPI and VPC projects Product Segment Development – Support the development and implementation of product segment development plan Lead Time Improvement – Support the development and implementation of projects to improve the lead time of parts manufactured at the regional factories. Provide service parts support for Service Literature (5%) This role manages the CGT global part numbers and system set ups Role works with local functions to identify and set-up parts. Parts are then set-up in global system for use by global teams Works with engineering to identify correct part numbers. Works with local functions to identify and correct issues with parts delivery. Competencies: Analyze Issues – Understanding of how to analyze issues. Demonstrates use of analysis skills to learn and analyze information in a timely way. Applies accurate logic in solving problems. Aftermarket Parts – Cummins Generator Technologies -Understanding of the aftermarket parts system from part number release through on stocking at parts distribution centers. Demonstrates knowledge by releasing parts for aftermarket. Inventory Control and Management – Understand the need to have inventory control and inventory management strategies to meet Cummins strategic plans. Project Management – Has a good understanding of and effectively applies project management techniques in low to moderately complex projects. Attention to Details – Demonstrates ability to work in a thorough and detailed manner. Provides accurate, consistent information on all documents. Achieves thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task through concern for all the areas involved. Qua lificationsTo be successful in this role you will need the following: College, university or equivalent degree in Business, Engineering or related field required. Strong level of English required – written and spoken Experience: Distribution Channel or Material Management experience preferred.
