JOB DESCRIPTION Job Description SummaryService support field engineer, providing technical support and technical training across Europe to field technicians.Job DescriptionRoles and responsibilities:Provide technical support to the field teams and field technicians, focusing on troubleshooting techniques: Problem analysis and problem solving.Train site teams in the different systems and subsystems of the wind turbines (Remote trainings but mainly OJT)Analyze and evaluate field performance based on statistical data, identifying improvement opportunities or best practices to share across sites, based on standard times for troubleshooting and repair time.Train site teams in the use of Advance Troubleshooting Guides.Trainings in Electrical safety and LOTO techniques.Support new sites, new markets to ramp up the knowledge and technical skills of new hires.Cross functional support to other departments.Required qualifications:Bachelor degree in Electrical engineering, or associate’s degree or a high school Diploma with more than 5 years’ experience as Field service engineer in Wind turbines.Accredited experience in GE and ECO wind turbines, projects and/or services, electrical and mechanical.High level of English written and spokenDesired CharacteristicsHigh availability to travel across different countries in Europe, rotating to different sites.Good communication skills.Additional language (German, French…) will be highly considered.Supporting and cooperating: Demonstrate an interest in understanding the others.
