Are you in?Come, and be where it begins. Our Exciting OpportunityWe are now looking for a SC Integration Engineer.In this role, you will be translating customer needs, and technology opportunities into detailed technical offering, solutions, and proposals. Activities cover different areas including virtual Core Network Deployments and adjacent Cloud Deployment.This role will enable you to become part of the Telecom Core and Cloud team and to experience what it means to be in the front line to deliver the newest technology to operators. Currently, most of our projects have 5G Stand Alone/NFVi/Containerization exposure, along with the opportunity to develop automation skills (e.g. with Ansible/Python/Jenkins for those inclined towards coding). This is the environment you will be working in today, but you will also be among the first ones to have access to future technology advances.The assignment is for some of the largest, most well-known and most innovative telecom operators in Europe.We encourage you to come along with us, craft the future, grow together and enjoy a great working environment.  You will:Cover different areas including legacy, virtual or containerized Core Network Deployments, Integration, Testing and acceptance for DSC/SC;Perform integration, configuration, between DSC and IMS peers, create communication with DSC DDB for an SC/BSF;Perform onboarding, instantiation/upgrade/termination on following SC nodes: BSF/SCP/SEPP (ideally with EVNFM orchestrator) using day0 files and settings and configuration with day1 file or manual config;Configuration of BSF for routing, diameter for init-db, integration with NRF, for registration, discovery, and other parameters, BSF config for service address, IP address, fqdn, integration with DSC DDB;Configuration of redundancy solution, backups;Perform Troubleshooting activities depending on issue;Perform traffic, node, roaming and acceptance tests;Work with main team on list of potential activities and solutions;Support deployment of solution, participate in LLD creation;Work closely with R&D in case of complex issues;Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation, and information sharing;Stay abreast of new technology/technical areas and share information about solution to enable competence build;Bring your recommendations to the table when it comes to new implementations;Work together with the team and the customer. To be successful in the role you must have:Experience in 5G UDM (User Data management)Experience in containerization, preferable of Ericsson SystemsExperience of cloud deployments, preferable with Ericsson HDS / CEE environments (OpenStack)Experience with LLD creation, node configuration, integration, SW upgrades, acceptance testingWorking experience with any of following: DSC, 5G SC (SCP, BSF)Medium knowledge of IP networking, LinuxProfessional level of English is a must Additional Requirements:Consultative approach;Flexibility and adaptability;Passion for improving, growth mentality; Pragmatic approach to various situations;Reliable team member;Availability for occasional short travel periods (in the future, when the international context makes it safe);Professional level of English.  What´s in it for you?Here at Ericsson, our culture is built on over a century of fearless decisions.
