Site Manager - SolarLeap29 is excited to present an excellent opportunity with a leading global renewables company, which has a robust pipeline of projects throughout Romania and Eastern Europe. We are currently recruiting for a Site Manager to oversee solar projects in Central Romania, and we are looking for candidates available to start at short notice.As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and managing the daily construction activities on-site.Key Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Experience: At least 7-10 years of construction management experience, ideally within the renewable energy sector or large-scale infrastructure projects.Strong understanding of PV systems and construction methodologies.Proficiency with construction management tools and software.In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, and standards.Proven leadership and team management skills.Strong organizational and project management abilities.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Professional interaction with clients, engineers, contractors, and team members.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to promptly and effectively resolve construction-related issues. Responsibilities: Develop and implement detailed construction plans and schedules.Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to meet deadlines.Coordinate with the Project Manager to align on-site activities with overall project goals.Oversee all on-site construction, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality and progress.Manage and lead a team of supervisors, foremen, and construction workers.Assign responsibilities based on team members' skills and experience.Ensure that all work meets required quality standards and project specifications.Implement quality control procedures, conducting inspections to identify and rectify defects.Foster a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and leading safety briefings.Manage procurement and allocation of materials, equipment, and labor.Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.Monitor and control construction costs to stay within budget.Address client concerns and provide regular status reports to project stakeholders.Maintain comprehensive records, including daily logs, progress reports, and site photos.Ensure all necessary permits and approvals are secured and documented.Identify potential risks to schedule, quality, or safety and develop mitigation strategies.
