WD106336 Software Architect
Here is a glimpse of what you'll do:
- Create clear high-level SW Architectural design based on System and/or stakeholder requirements
- Design and develop software Architecture autonomously or as member of a global software engineering team
- Document software architecture and designs in UML tools such as Enterprise Architect
- Install and configure the development environment (build scripts, make files etc.)
- Confer with other engineers on regular basis to achieve highest software quality
- Independently develop Innovative, cost effective and manufacturable solutions
- Design-in of Flex vertical integration architecture description involves the principles and practices of modeling and representing architectures, using mechanisms such as architecture description languages, architecture viewpoints, and architecture frameworks.
- Describing system design using several views that frequently include a static view showing the code structure of the system, a dynamic view showing the actions of the system during execution, and a deployment view showing how a system is placed on hardware for execution
Here is some of what you’ll need:
- University degree - preferably computer science, electronics or similar
- Minimum 7 years in Embedded systems or 3 years as SW Architect
- Demonstrated experience as a software developer for embedded systems in the automotive industry
- AUTOSAR development (Microsar, Tresos, Basic & Application SW)
- Strong technical understanding and analytical skills (systematic approach, recognize dependencies, weaknesses and risks)
- Fluent English knowledge in written and spoken form
We consider the following experiences as a plus:
- Knowledge of Hardware
- Low level programming of microcontrollers such as PowerPC architecture
- Software development processes such as Automotive SPICE
- Drivers for serial communication (SPI, UART, I²C)
- MATLAB Modelling /w Auto Code generation
