You are also responsible for organizing the collaboration between Domain Architects to make sure that the SW architectures from all domains form a coherent overall system architecture. Job Responsibilities: Fulfilling this role, you will involved in and responsible for the following activities:Development of software architecture designs to fulfill customer requirements, utilizing the concepts and resources provided by Harmans’s hardware design.Technical analysis and assessment of customer requirements and derivation of preliminary architectural proposals during RFC/RFQ/RFI phases.Specification of SW architectural and functional requirements.Definition of non-functional quality requirements, e.g. SW metrics, performance KPI, stability criteria and memory budgets for our products.Coordination of architectural collaboration with SW architects and developers of subsystems and suppliers.System monitoring, profiling, and optimization regarding of startup/boot time, CPU load and memory bandwidth.Monitoring of development status and software quality and with means of design and code reviews.Support the development, integration and test teams with over-all SW guidelines, hands-on training and reviewsConsideration of Harman processes, Automotive SPICE and functional safety requirements.Continuous improvement of the Harman software architecture and design processes. Basic Qualifications: In order to fulfill this role, you are required to have the following qualifications:Master or PhD degree in Computer Science or equivalent.At least 5 years of architectural experience in automotive projects.Knowledge of model based software architecture principles and architectural patterns.Expert knowledge in software engineering of Automotive Systems, especially realtime operating systems, Linux, EE security.Profound knowledge of communication automotive bus architectures as well as communication protocols as TCP/IP, SomeIP and AVB.Solid background in using state of the art software engineering tools like Enterprise Architect , DOORS, JIRA and PROCOM.Advanced knowledge of international standards (e.g. ISO 26262, Automotive SPICE®).Excellent communication and presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications: In order to fulfill this role, it will be a plus if you have the following qualifications:Certified Professional for Software Architecture – Foundation Level (CPSA-F).Expertise with in Automotive cyber security.Expertise with different implementations of AUTOSAR.Expertise in performance optimization on emebedded, hypervisor-based systems.Deep system architecture and hardware knowledge.
