As our new Software Developer you will be part of a DevOps* team working in the public cloud where continuous delivery with extreme automation, continuous improvement, and continuous monitoring are some of our core principles.
Your main tasks and responsibilities as a developer in our team will be:
Implement new features, make improvements and fix bugs in our service
Write well designed, secure, testable, efficient code by using best practices
Work with our technology stack currently consisting of technologies and tools like TeamCity, Octopus, Github, Azure, C#, Asp.net, Javascript, Typescript, Angular, React
Manage technical debt by maintaining, refining and refactoring existing code base
Write unit tests and perform code reviews
With time you will also contribute with these tasks:
Assist with backlog refinement (clarification, analysis, prioritization)
Verify the code by designing, implementing and executing automated tests
Assist with automation of development and delivery pipeline
Configure and deploy the service
Monitor the service and system health
Update existing technical documentation and system specifications/documentation
If you are the right one for us, we believe that you have/are:
Knowledge of Software Engineering methods and patterns
Experience as a developer working with C# and Microsoft’s web stack ASP.NET Web API, .NET Framework and .NET Core.
Knowledge about unit testing and API testing
Familiar with SQL
Genuinely interested in technology with focus on SaaS architectures, Microservices and Web services
Hands-on knowledge with Continuous Delivery and Azure cloud platform is a plus

About the Team
Do you want to join us in our efforts to build Visma’s Help Centre where customers help themselves in finding answers to their questions?
We are building a component that is integrated with more than 50 Visma products and is critical in delivering a world class customer experience. We are looking for a new colleague to help us continue making this component a success!
The team members are located in Oslo (Norway), Ängelholm (Sweden), Timisoara and Sibiu, and we are now looking to find a new colleague in Romania.
Our work language is English and of course we communicate continuously by chat and online video meetings.
