Role Profile
Coordinates and leads the chapter formed by all the Software Developers, similar to a Team Leader role. Manages performance of the squad members in the Chapter, coordinates knowledge sharing and leads functional excellence of their chapter.
Trains and mentors all the chapter members. Builds a training plan for all chapter members. Builds the best practice guide for quality work in the chapter.
After consulting with the team, decides the best tool stack to be used for development.
The automation Chapter Leader is the most senior person in terms of technical knowledge in the chapter and a good people manager . In Agile methodology people doing a similar role are grouped into Chapters led by a Chapter Leader.
Develops robot and automation solutions using Java, Groovy, Python and platforms like RESOLVE and UIPATH. The scope of work is to automate all the activities in the Group Network Operations through big projects like CIAS (COGNITIVE INTELLIGENCE AUTOAMTION SYSTEM).
Main Activity
- Investigates and decides the best tools to sustain the development process.
- Deliver NOC automation as part of Agile teams in Agile methodology
- Develop software in Java or Python
- Develop automation using Resolve RPA or UIPATH platform;
- Responsible for people growth, training and development.
- Works closely with solution architects in order to deliver best in class solution;
- Supports and advise Senior management in identifying opportunities to improve business through IT applications;
- Participate in the problem identification/error resolution process, including tracking, repairing and reporting defects.
- Provide technical direction on design considerations for performance, scalability, availability, maintainability, disaster recovery and uptime.
- Create and maintains technical design documentation to support development.
- Works closely with the user to understand their perspective of OSS platforms over architecture and technology.

- Strong knowledge with integration tools ESB (e,g OSB or Tibco or Webmethods).
- Strong Knowledge with relational and non-relational databases (including SQL).
- Scripting, command line and operating systems administration knowledge – Windows, Unix
- Systems Integration and communication technologies – SOAP, REST, JDBC, FTP, HTTP/S, SMTP, SNMP, SSH, TCP, Telnet
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies: Scrum and SAFE..
