Within the Software Engineering Service team you will be responsible to develop, maintain and support IT Services for the Software Community. We Work in an Agile way and therefore your focus will be to further automate and orchestrate our environment and help our customers to utilize our services as efficient and effective as possible. You will work on existing IT Services but also help to design and implement new IT Services.
As Software DevOps Engineer you will support SES (Software Engineering Services).
Your responsibilities
- OS Configuration management tools, working knowledge on Ansible
- Containerization technologies
- IT infrastructure administration (Linux and Windows)
- VMware administration / working in the Virtualized environment
- Support and troubleshoot various Operating Systems (Windows, RHEL, Ubuntu)
- Familiarity with software methods and tools
- Strong knowledge in Scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)

For the position of Software DevOps Engineer you will support SwIS. This is a NXP developed automated software development platform. You are responsible to support, maintain, further automate and develop this environment within NXP to make sure it meets the business requirements and standards. You should have the ability to grasp recent technologies quickly and work independently with minimal supervision. The candidate for this position will be required to demonstrate flexible and proactive/self-motivated working style with strong personal ownership of problem resolution.
Your profile
To be successful in this role you have:
- Master or bachelor’s degree in IT or Software engineering
- 6-10 years of work experience
- Agile / scrum methodology knowledge
- Cloud knowledge (Nice to have)
- ITIL Knowledge (Nice to have)
- Experience in working with international multi-site teams, good team player

Contract: This is a fulltime position with a permanent contract
