Autodesk is looking for a Software Engineer to join the Generative Design and Simulation team in Krakow. Our team develops generative design, automated modeling, and other cutting edge technologies integrated in Autodesk Fusion 360. We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn architecting and developing high quality software solutions which combine desktop applications, web clients and cloud services. As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to developing and delivering our products to millions of professionals. You will work in a cross-functional team on a variety of unique challenges which give an opportunity to learn new technology and grow your skills, while we make sure you don’t forget to have fun along the way! ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with your teammates to effectively deliver high-quality product.Design and implement software solutions which meet specified requirements.Produce clean, effective, and well-documented source code.Unit test, debug and solve defects in implemented software.Actively participate in code reviews.Contribute to technical discussions. Minimum QualificationsUnderstanding of good software development practices, including design patterns and principles of object-oriented software architecture. 1+ years of software engineering experience.Experience in C++ programming (following the recent C++ standard is a plus).Great teamwork attitude and good communication skills.Ability to learn new technology quickly.Bachelor’s (BS) or higher degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics or other engineering domain. Preferred Qualifications Experience in Qt is a plus.Experience in JavaScript is a plus.Experience in git, CMake or Docker is a plus.Understanding principles of agile software development is a plus.
