What you’ll do Contribute to design and development of customised tools to aid our development processFoster best practices and innovation in our development processContribute to code reviews, security enhancements and automation of “as code” servicesHelp upskill developers into new technologies and tools What you’ll bring Your experience includes:Hands-on experience with scripting and automationUnderstanding of Linux and networkingUnderstanding of databases and SQLExperience with one of the major cloud environments: AWS, GCP or Azure is a plusHands-on experience with Message Queue Software like: Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Amazon MQ, or Google Cloud Pub/SubExperience with cloud-native development is a plus.Hands-on experience with at least one major programming language (i.e. Java, Python, Go, etc)Strong experience with software testing and debuggingGreat problem solving skillsAn automation first mindsetAbility and passion for innovation and a mind constantly open to change and improvementA “biassed toward progress” attitudeStrong understanding and interest in software development best practicesProven track record of writing quality codeHigh degree of autonomy at either story, epic or initiative level (depending on seniority)Team player with strong interpersonal skillsMambu’s futureWe are a diverse group of Mambuvians, and we are growing fast.
