Software Engineer – Frontend (Remote) in Timisoara

This is a technical role for the MarketSight team at Dynata. The successful candidate will help build and deliver a new application interface for MarketSight, part of the Dynata Insights Platform. Join a team that is creating a feature rich, easy to use, analytics application based on Dynata's emerging core services. Responsibilities Software engineer for the new analytics application interface, currently MarketSight. Contribute to UI design, technology selection, and implementation. Create application integrations to Dynata Platform, core data storage, and computation services. Implement application features and bug fixes in close coordination with teammates and the attached QA team. Participate in team communications on domain, design, coding, and architectural approaches. Contribute to technical documentation to support delivery, maintenance, adoption (i.e. technical requirements, user guides, etc.) Help develop and use automated deployment and maintenance mechanisms. Support AWS hosting deployments as the application is rolled into production across several regions. Skills and Attributes Expertise of JavaScript application programming and web applications. Proficiency with a popular JavaScript implementation using React, Backbone, AngularJS, Node.js or other. Familiarity with a variety of leading JavaScript and UI technologies. Excellent written and oral communication skills. The team is international with primary communication in English. Familiarity with RESTful Web Services, HTTP/S Protocols, and Web Server management. Knowledge of Relational Database design, SQL and ORM (NHibernate) technologies. Collaborative approach to work with great interpersonal skills. Ability to work with remote and distributed teams. Familiarity with C#, Python, GoLang, and other programming languages. Education and Experience College or University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline. 5+ years of experience in software design and development. 3+ years of frontend application development. Participant in teams using Scrum / Agile methodologies. Experience with GIT, Visual Studio, FireBug, PostMan, and other development/debugging tools. Experience with enterprise SaaS software in cloud-based hosting environments. (AWS preferred) Industry experience in Data Analytics or Market Research a big plus!
