We’re building an alternative payment service that allows both merchants & consumers to save money by cutting out credit card processing fees. Everyone wins — except the big banks.We are currently a team of fifteen at the Series A stage, backed by Sequoia, Index Ventures, and Forerunner, as well as the founders of Affirm, Warby Parker, Allbirds, Casper, and DoorDash.We’re looking for a product-minded engineer who can help drive development across the stack, and, more importantly, grow with us and the company.What will you be doing?Own end-to-end design and implementation of features including development, testing and releaseBuild solutions that take into consideration issues of scaling, security, and performanceCollaborate closely with product, design, and the rest of engineering to deliver on our product roadmap, turning mocks into realityGrow with the company as a technical leaderWhat skills and experience do you need?Industry experience building fast, secure, and reliable cloud & web applications, both on the frontend and backendAdaptability and drive to thrive with an early stage team, and can navigate the velocity of low-information environmentsAvailability to respond and tackle issues as they ariseFamiliarity with automated testing, observability, and monitoringExperience with React, Python, and AWS is a plus
