Job role The Allianz Cloud Platform Engineering team is looking for a Software Engineer to join us. In this role, you will architect, modify, improve, maintain, and support our cloud-based user-facing platform which is built on Open Source software. Responsibilities Design, develop, test, deploy, and monitor software or services in collaboration with designers, product managers, and other engineers to power the Allianz Cloud Platform Write new software to power the Allianz Cloud Platform Participate in on-call rotations tasked with diagnosing and fixing outages and incidents Extending continuous integration pipelines that ensure new software modifications are immediately built, automated tested and deployed in a GitOps fashion Design systems minimizing cloud-computing platform, like Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure, costs and complying with best practices and standards Work with internal customers, including engineering teams who produce services to help onboard and maintain Contribute to CNCF Open Source projects Reviewing and providing quality feedback on pull requests from other contributors to the platform Requirements and Skills Relevant work experience in Kubernetes software engineering on AWS or Azure Experience with full software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies like scrum, DevOps, design thinking, and interactive development Written production code and automation in modern languages Demonstrated experience with backend API and microservices creation You used some of the tools: Crossplane, Terraform, ArgoCD, vCluster, Kubernetes Policies, GitHub Actions, Dynatrace, Kubernetes Monitoring and Logging services Have experience in frontend technologies, JavaScript, React, HTML5, CSS, etc. Administrated Linux and UNIX systems Programmed in Golang Would be considered a plus if: Developed a Kubernetes controller, operator, or platform component Contributed to CNCF Open-Source projects You used some of the tools: Crossplane, Terraform, ArgoCD, vCluster, Kubernetes Policies, GitHub Actions, Dynatrace, Kubernetes Monitoring and Logging services Benefits Come to the Allianz side!
