As a Software Developer Team Leader at Sensing & Actuation Timisoara you will coordinate the development and maintenance of generic basic software components for several 16-bit microcontroller families used at S&A (e.g. Renesas RL78 family or Freescale S12Z family and the development of software functions, which are delivered as black-box software library to any ECU suppliers for integration into their host ECU, in which it encapsulates the control of our sensor or actuator components. In order to facilitate an easy integration for our customers, you will work with established Automotive standards, like AUTOSAR, XCP, etc.
As member of a small and dynamic development team you will be involved in the complete V-cycle of the software development process, including close interaction with your internal customers in various locations (e.g. during requirements engineering phase or by providing support for integrating your components), as well as supporting your team to take own design decisions to find the best balance between generic features and low core resource footprint.
As Generic Software Developer Team Leader your responsibilities will be to:
- Lead team members for all steps of the projects V-cycle;
- Act as first entry point for Generic SW projects, responsible for planning and resource allocation for the team working on the projects;
- Regular reporting of planning and open issues projects;
- Mentoring and coaching the other team members
- Interface to PM and sometimes to customer;
- SW Architect for the projects;
- Generic SW development support.
- University degree (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Electronics, Automatics) or relevant professional experience;
- More than 3 years relevant technical experience;
- 2 years Project Team experience in a specific domain (direct link to Customer is a plus);
- Ability to coordinate technical colleagues (e.g. SW Tester, SW Developer), team player;
- English language.
