Responsibilities Conceive, design and engineer data, software, or technology solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; Routinely demonstrate initiative and creativity in developing technology solutions Work through all stages of a data solution lifecycle, e.g., analyze / profile data, create conceptual, logical and physical data model designs, architect and design ETL, reporting and analytics Translate business needs into technical data designs to deliver on the solutions Ensure that data designs follow architectural best practices and appropriate business rules Work closely with the Enterprise Architect in formulating technology roadmaps, standards, best practices and guiding principles Work with and provide input to Enterprise Architecture in evaluating new/enhanced DWH solutions for bringing new capabilities based on the business requirements, then support project teams in implementing these new technologies Provide SME knowledge on technology usage Skills Must have Minimum 5-7 yrs. of experience in Oracle databases 5+ years of experience in design, development, modification and testing of Data Warehouse solutions Expert understanding of BI/DW system architectures, methodologies and data modeling Understanding of Data Modeling concepts (Dimensional and Relational), knowledge of OLAP structures, SQL Performance Tuning Experience with data modeling tools, such as PowerDesigner Advanced knowledge of Database Administration in an Enterprise environment Excellent advanced SQL skills required Experience with ETL/Data Quality tools such as Informatica, ODI etc Experience with Data Visualization tools, preferably QlikView or QlikSense Security knowledge Nice to have Banking & Financial knowledge Experience with Google Cloud Platform or other major cloud providers Experience with developing databases in an Agile framework Languages English: B2 Upper Intermediate Seniority Senior
