PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The Supply Chain software market in CEE is characterized by a very dynamic market development and a highly innovative & competitive market landscape. To foster the Sales approach to our existing customers as well as to reach out to new revenue potential we need to focus more on value-based selling to the business departments in our customer and prospect base.
To achieve this, we are searching for a Sales Manager(f/m/d) who will be responsible for selling and achieving the respective revenue targets of our entire Line of Business “Digital Supply Chain” portfolio. This job will cover all Sales related processes in terms of direct & indirect Sales of our cloud & onPrem DSC Solutions as well as managing the LoB DSC Sales CEE team and working in strong alignment with the dedicated stakeholders on local, regional & global level. Digital Supply Chain covers all solution areas from Design to Operate, including Engineering / Design, Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics and Maintenance. Besides positioning topics such as Industry 4.0, Resilient Supply Chain, Business Network and Sustainability, rising the DSC Cloud revenue base in CEE will be the main objective of the new sales leader!
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
- Achieve agreed revenue & pipeline targets
- Provide reliable forecasts and regular status updates on pipeline and deal level
- Manage all opportunities and bids covering the Digital Supply Chain portfolio
- Ensure accurate account planning, deal acceleration and closing plans
- Lead and coach the DSC Solution Sales teams, located in the CEE Market Units, according to regional & global Sales frameworks
- Provide strategic deal leadership to the local field sales teams
- Support negotiating complex contract constellations
- Provide Sales guidance to bring local Solution Sales in direct contact with different business areas from our customers (development, planning, manufacturing, sales & distribution and Aftersales / Services)
- Foster a value-based solution approach in cooperation with respective industry- und product specialists
- Develop and drive the agreed Go-to-market plans
- Work on demand management activities with regional and local Marketing & Business Development
- Build, enable and support the local partner landscape
- Drive best practice sharing on a regional as well as market unit level
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Master´s degree or higher
- Strong know-how in SAPs DSC cloud solutions
- Solid knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and SAP Solutions in Digital Supply Chain
- Very confident in dealing with people on all company levels – especially with decision makers in the area of supply chain
- Strong networking skills with customers and their buying centers
- Excellent communication and presentation skills on executive level and at conferences / events
- Both English language skills are mandatory, German and / or any additional CEE language is an advantage
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Solution Sales, Business Development consulting or solution advisory. Minimum 5+ year experience in software solution license sales
- First Experience in a role as people manager is a prerequisite
- Extensive know-how in SAPs DSC cloud solutions
- Developing and executing large scale business plans and programs
- Cross-industry experience in Industry processes (i.e. Industry 4.0, Manufacturing, Logistics, IoT, and Big Data strategies)
