Sql server DBA in Constanţa

We are looking for a SQL Server expert, to work in a fast-paced environment, providing both production & development support. This position will work closely with various development groups across the firm and should demonstrate his/her ability as a technical expert on the team. Duties : Provide production support, solutions and expertise for 200+ SQL Servers in multiple data centers, including development, test and production environments. Install, configure, and upgrade SQL Server engine and other MSSQL services. Design, implement, and maintain capacity planning for MSSQL database systems. Develop and maintain T-SQL stored procedures, functions, triggers, indexes and agent jobs in support of DBA responsibilities. Design, maintain, improve and implement DBA monitoring tools. Resolve complex database related issues and outages. Manage DBA tickets, user requests, routine support and maintenance. Automate repetitive or manual DBA tasks. Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years’ experience as a Microsoft SQL Server DBA. Flexibility to work weekends and after-hours as needed. Experience with high availability and disaster recovery solutions such as replication and Always On. Knowledge of SQL functions, transaction control, error handling, row processing, and other advanced T-SQL programming concepts. Experience managing other SQL Server services: SSRS, SSIS, SSAS. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to build consensus with team and technology partners. Preferred Additional Qualifications : Microsoft PowerShell. Conceptual knowledge or experience with DevOps concepts such as CI/CD. Knowledge of technologies peripheral to SQL Server: virtualization, storage, networking, Active Directory. Experience with data modeling and database development. Experience with ETL development and support. Knowledge or experience with cloud computing concepts: IaaS, SaaS, PaaS.
