Job Description and Requirements SR Digital Verification Applications EngineerThe primary focus of the Digital Verification Applications Engineer is to support the sale and adoption of the Synopsys Verification solution – simulation and debug platform and System Verilog/UVM Testbench methodology.As a Verification Applications Engineer, the candidate will be driving the effort to enable the methodology and solutions for customers using Synopsys Verification tools (VCS, Verdi, VIPs).The Digital Verification Application Engineer is expected to possess in-depth knowledge of RTL simulation and System Verilog/UVM test bench development with solid debugging skills. Candidate should have hands-on experience on UVM, Assertion and Randomized Constraints based verification methodologies.In this role, the Digital Verification Applications Engineer will work with customers to assist with the deployment of the dynamic verification tools and methodologies, resolve technical issues, operate migrations to latest software releases, qualify new features and technologies, provide technical training. The responsibility includes product demonstrations, evaluations, and competitive benchmarking, but also back-office activities like software release testing or reproducing bugs.Key QualificationsBS in CS/EE with 5+ years of experience, or MS in CS/EE with 3+ years of experience.Solid knowledge of System Verilog/UVM, Verilog and VHDL is required.Minimum 3+ years of experience with Block Level and SOC Level simulation verification is required.Knowledge of Constrained Random Verification and Code/Functional/Assertions (SVA) Coverage closure.Sharp debugging skills on designs and System Verilog/UVM environment is needed.Experience with simulation and debugging tools such as VCS, Verdi or equivalent industry tools.Good verbal and written presentation/communication skills and strong organization skills.Pleasant personality with good customer interface and communication skills.
