International Design is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to help reimagine our user experiences for international users!

Adobe Design is seeking an Engineer to join our International Design Team. Working remotely is fine as other team members live in other countries.
Your work will ultimately benefit millions of Adobe customers around the world — creating international-first solutions to help Adobe grow in new geos!
As an International Design Senior Engineer, you will distill designs into code that integrates with frameworks at Adobe and other 3rd party platforms.
As a senior team member, you’ll participate in key technical planning activities, such as feature discovery, system architecture, requirements definition, project scope, and delivery expectations. Overall, a Sr. Engineer plays a key role in ensuring International solutions launch in a timely, stable and scalable way.

What you’ll be working on
- Collaborate with the team to build and provide technology leadership to help guide our strategy
- Work on creative cloud extensibility, plugins for XD, Photoshop, Illustrator to solve internationally-unique user needs
- Prototype, build and validate implementation of Mini Apps for platforms like LINE and Wechat
- Work with different product teams to understand product requirements while driving the goals of our projects
- Assist in the discovery process of developing new solutions to Adobe
What you’ll bring to the team
Must-Haves:
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
- Experience in Web technologies: HTML, Javascript, React, CSS, Typescript, etc.
- Proven track record to instrument, profile, debug, and optimize code and resolve complex issues with distributed systems across multiple layers.
- Enjoy learning new technologies.
- Deep experience developing plugins for Adobe apps such as Adobe XD
- Be a fast learner and able to quickly learn to develop Mini Programs for new international 3rd party platforms such as WeChat, LINE, Alibaba, etc.
- Knowledge of back-end technologies (e.g. Java, Python, Node) and as well as front-end frameworks (e.g. Angular, React)
- Excellent technical, cross group collaboration and communication skills.
- Hands on experience in delivering web experience on a variety of form factors e.g. tablets, phones, etc.
- Practice working closely with designers, including a strong understanding of how to convert a design into code
- A pragmatic, collaborative and forward-thinking outlook, and a high degree of confidence working in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort with Agile development methodologies.
- Proven success working remotely, or with a remote team.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with the concepts behind design systems and how they are being applied in modern product development
- Hands-on experience with current build, test, and release methods; such as compilers, linting, CI/CD tooling, software testing and validation techniques, and modern dev-ops practices
- Solid understanding of web accessibility, WAI standards, and WA testing
- A consistent track record of launched products that delight, innovate and scale

The International Design Innovation team is a group of international designers, strategists and engineers. We work on Adobe’s own international-first products by rapidly exploring new forms of experiences, products, and business models — as well as extending existing ones. We look for fresh international approaches, cultural differences, technologies, devices, partnerships, use cases and users, and then craft for the edge cases. We research, deliver strategies, design and develop apps for them. By focusing on international users, we cast our net wider than the current customers to learn, experiment and build new tools. We currently focus on new international insights for region-specific plugins, third party integrations in international platforms, and more.
