As such, Dolby technology is exposed to illegal use which includes, but is not limited to, software piracy and intellectual property (IP) thievery. You will be part of a team responsible for creating solutions to protect Dolby’s IP and applying them in Dolby products. Acting as a security research expert you will be responsible for creating IP protection solutions from concept, through implementation to integration into products.  Essential Job Functions: Be mentor and advisor on state-of-the-art SW protection mechanisms Create, review and contribute to IP protection concepts for various Dolby products Implement, verify and evaluate protection mechanisms  Work swiftly in embedded environment at the verge of operating system, applications and hardware   Education & Skills: 8+ years of professional experience in software security domain professional experience with secure processing and Trusted Execution Environments (TEE) familiarity with platform security industry standards (e.g. PSA) professional experience with applied cryptography professional experience with cryptographic implementations (e.g. crypto++, mbedTLS, openSSL, etc.) professional experience with SW reverse engineering proficiency in C++, C and Python programming very good understanding of binary formats and their internals very good understanding of operating systems internals proficiency in using disassemblers/decompilers, debuggers, emulators, virtual machines strong analytical and problem-solving skills good command of English (written and spoken) passionate about SW/HW security
