Statutory accountant - General Ledger Accountant in Bucuresti

We are looking for  Statutory accountant - General Ledger Accountant  to join our team and collaborate successfully with the Audit Team, Local Team, Authorities and Financial controllers in support of Providing inputs to make bookings for local accounting purposes and Preparing the Annual Statutory Financial Statements. Position is located in Romania, Bucharest. Responsibilities: Provide inputs for GL Team to make bookings for local accounting purposes Prepare the Annual Statutory Financial Statements Support the statutory audits of these statements Provide the data to our consultants in order to prepare the corporate income tax Statutory reporting of various statistics to local authorities Submission of Monthly, Quarterly or Annual of VAT Reports and Ec Sales Support/back up for the VAT CoE on VAT and Intrastat reporting and quality assurance Interact with local authorities related to topics mentioned above Work closely with the European Financial Controller on aspects which requires management judgement Qualifications: Accounting degree and/or 4 years+ working experience as a General Ledger accountant Experience in SAP Fluent in English Strong analytical skills Proven ability to work effectively in a highly interdependent organization Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills Ability to work independent Can-do attitude Company Description Diversey’s mission is to protect and care for people through leading hygiene, infection prevention, and cleaning solutions.
