Subscription Fraud Analyst in Bucuresti

Your day to day: Plays a crucial role in safeguarding Vodafone Romania against risks associated with subscription fraud. This position is focused on analysing fraud cases related to contract activations, identifying patterns, and recommending preventive and corrective measures to minimize fraud impact. The advisor works with cross-functional teams to ensure fraud prevention strategies are implemented effectively, while also supporting awareness initiatives within Vodafone Romania to foster a culture of fraud prevention. With these activities you will have a great impact on our business: Fraud Case Analysis: Examine contract activation fraud cases, identify trends, and propose targeted preventive and corrective actions to mitigate the effects of subscription fraud. Control Development & Implementation: Assist in the creation and execution of robust fraud controls for contract activations. Risk Evaluation: Assess postpaid/prepaid products and services from a fraud risk perspective, contributing with insights and recommendations to strengthen fraud prevention across the Vodafone Romania’s offerings. Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct analyses to identify trends and potential risks in postpaid/prepaid accounts, reporting findings to key stakeholders.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Commercial, and Credit Risk teams to ensure fraud risks are mitigated in the activation process With these skills you are a great candidate: Solid Knowledge in Fraud Prevention: Preferred of 12 months experience in fraud prevention, risk assessment, or a similar field, preferably within telecom or subscription-based services.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and experience with fraud detection tools and processes.Fraud Awareness: Comprehensive knowledge of both local and international fraud trends, specifically in Romania.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage and provide insights across departments.
