Region NCE > SBU NCE Service > Travel Team-Onshore East Vestas Northern and Central Europe is a sales business unit covering, NORTH-WEST (Scandinavia,UK, Ireland) CENTRAL (Germany and Benelux) and EAST(Poland and Baltics countries, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Ukraine, Georgia and Kazakhstan). Our responsibilities include Sales, Project, Installation, and Service of wind farms in these regions. We are looking for a Travel Team Supervisor to ensure performance and supervise the crews of Travel Technicians (who travel % of the time to various sites in the NCE region) in compliance with Vestas safety standards and processes. As a Supervisor, you will have to ensure that your team is qualified and possesses relevant and valid certifications and trainings. Responsibilities Oversee and supervise a remote group of employees, comprising Lead Technicians and Service Technicians Delivery of services on an operational level with respect to process adherence, service quality, safety standards, and performance ensured People skills development, skills, and training actions are managed including safety related. Responsible for Recruitment & Building capacity Compliance with Vestas standards across the dedicated site and processes and procedures also ensures obeying regional laws and regulations Ensure task completion in compliance with procedures, department guidelines and Vestas Standards Continuous improvements, efficiency, and quality Identify & improve. Be a role model for other employees, organizations Convert department knowledge into specific actions, optimization of domain expertise based on lessons learned Qualifications Experience in a similar role with an ability to develop teams and organizational results - will be beneficial Experience in directing a team and managing remote tasks Proficiency in English, both written and verbally Professional knowledge of Microsoft, SAP and Salesforce Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture field - 3 years experience in building construction will be an asset Driving license – B category Competencies Problem-solving, conflict resolution Ability to guide and motivate the team A safety-first mindset, Quality Focus and Compliance Good communication skills and a service-oriented mindset Empowerment, change-driven, team-oriented, people coaching, interpersonal skills Analytical and detailed working approach Good facilitation and presentation skills on the Management level What we offer We offer a stable job, an innovative learning environment, and opportunities for career development at a well-known wind turbine manufacturer.
