Here is a glimpse of what you'll do…
- Check the quality of materials accordance with engineers / customers representations, the Purchase Orders (terms and conditions) and contracts, to ensure meeting the requirements of reliability, quality and control;
- Supplier development in a manufacturing / service process - work with suppliers to continuously improve performance, implement process controls and develop quality assurance plans;
- Facilitate the process of acquisition of materials, by ensuring that the supplier understands the requirements;
- Perform methods of assessing supplier quality system to ensure materials compliance and requests corrective actions if necessary;
- Implement process improvements with suppliers and provides instructions for improvements, problem solving techniques, SQC, CPK, PPAP verification;
- Develop plans for IQA inspection by defining inspection criteria, equipment used, techniques applied for samples, SQA;
- Collaborate with customers and engineers to introduce a new product. You will coordinate the qualification process for new components and/or materials;
- Solve problems related to the quality of materials coming from suppliers, provide technical verification for the materials, use statistical methods to analyze data, communicate the data to the supplier and ensure the execution of corrective and preventive actions;
- Monitor the progress of correntive actions implemented and ensure that problems are properly addressed to avoid recurrence.
Here is some of what you'll need…
- University Degree;
- Minimum 2 years working experience in Supplier Quality Assurance, Automotive or Medical area – is a plus;
- Good knowledge and experience working with 8D report, PFMEA, PPAP, Control Plan, SPC etc;
- Fluent English skills: written / spoken / reading;
- Excellent presentation skills, with verbal and written communication abilities;
- Well organized, able to prioritize and high capacity to solve problems;
- High technical skills, analytical, able to assimilate information and draw conclusions quickly.
