Supplier Quality Technician I in Oradea

Purpose Statement: Plans and executes activities pertaining to the evaluation and disposition of products received from component suppliers and/or is engaged in the qualification and approval of suppliers of purchased components. Issues and supports supplier corrective actions and the failure analysis processes.Key Job Accountabilities:Support Supplier Quality improvement through permanent feed-back provided to SQE with regards to component quality level.Manages data collection system with regards to supplier Quality performance in order to monitor supplier performance.Support NCM management through reporting activity or preparations of the NCM parts to be returned to suppliers.Verifies parts received against customer specifications, to ensure product compliance.Additional Accountabilities:Qualifies custom-engineered components by interfacing with both supplier and customer. Presents qualification data/samples to customers. Communicates with customers on print specifications.Resolves supplier quality product issues.Attends MRB/NCM activities to support the resolution of supplier quality issues.Issues and tracks Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs). Generates and reviews open/late SCAR reports to assure that suppliers respond to corrective action requests. Approves SCAR responses to supplier quality issues and verifies the effectiveness of supplier actions on subsequent product receipts.Assist NCM with RMA process.Drive cost recovery efforts back to the supplier to recover labor and part costs due to supplier defects.Send out on time delivery and quality reports to Purchasing and customer as required for suppliers that are customer specific.Coordinate product purges due to supplier defects and assist Purchasing with organizing shipment of replacement material with supplier; Work with suppliers on-site; Assist with freight damager and sort product.Acknowledges and complies with the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards provided in the procedures and instructions that are specific to each field, documentation that underlies the proper functioning of the integrated management system of quality, environment, safety and occupational health.Minimal travel may be required to meet the needs of the business (estimated 5%)Additional duties as assigned.Education/Experience Qualifications:A minimum of an Associate's degree is required; an Associate's degree is preferredLess than One (1) years of related experience is required; One (1) or more years of related experience is preferred.An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.Other Qualifications: Intermediate computer skillsIntermediate decision making, problem solving skillsIntermediate verbal and written communication skillsBasic manufacturing experienceBasic workmanship standard knowledgeCustomer focusBasic blueprint skills-Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)Basic measurement skills using inspection equipment (Calipers, micrometers)General office equipment and materialsWork Environment:The work setting should consist of a manufacturing environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and a moderate noise level.
