Your career opportunity We are looking for a Mainframe Automation specialist to join the global team working on delivery of monitoring and automation rules using the Broadcom OPS/MVS product. The role will involve progressing requests for new or updated monitoring and automation rules for Mainframe Automation as work request from a range of IT teams globally as well as providing support as a result of identified incidents. There will also be project items requiring Mainframe Automation and REXX programming skills to design and implement appropriate automation solutions. What you’ll do  Administer and support the mainframe automation OPS/MVS product. Deliver automation at the quality and pace warranted by the business. Ensuring delivery to the customer while adhering to established global standards and best practice. Actively participate in achieving organizational efficiency objectives and undertake analysis on day-to-day work to drive automation on deliveries thereby minimizing repetitive and standardized tasks/processes. Work closely with the stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver solution as agreed. Led technical automation projects. Work on incidents & issues to ensure completion within agreed deadlines. Provide the 24*7 On-call support. What you need to have to succeed in this role  Excellent verbal and written English skills. Min. 2 years of experience of OPS/MVS product and IBM mainframe systems. Ability to write automation scripts on IBMz Mainframe in REXX. Understanding and follow the Incident, Problem, Change Management processes. Experience of providing production support / troubleshooting for OPS/MVS and IBM z/OS system. Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. On call availability.
