Linux (junior) SQL (regular) Cloud (regular) As an  Database Administrator You are responsible for administration of enterprise private cloud solution, including DB administration, Maintenance of cloud management database, provide support for provisioning as well as play a key role during tests and deploying new solutions.This role require good communication, team work and organization skills, as DB is located in the middle of cloud management process many task will require good cooperation and coordination between several squads.If you thrive in a dynamic, collaborative workplace, Kyndryl provides an environment where you will be challenged.What you can count on:Multisport cardPrivate health careLife insurance packageDiscounts for Kyndryl employeesFree language coursesWide range of benefits packages for parents and childrenSports activities & Team EventsRequired Professional and Technical Expertise :Overall 3+ years of experience with at least 1+ years of relevant technical and working skills within a cloud environment,Install, configure, monitor, upgrade and maintain databases in production and non-production environments, including DR and patching activity.Planning and implementing proactive measures for reducing the down time for production environment, as well as capacity management activity and reporting.Database administration for off the shelf and internally developed applications, ensuring continuous operation and availability in support of mission critical business applications and participating in on-call rotation.Write/maintain OS level scripts for DB automation and application maintenance.Provide technical expertise and hands-on support in consolidation and migration of databases to new hardware and platforms.Good SQL skills,Good management of either MS SQL, My SQL Oracle or DB2,Creation and implementation of scripts for Bash,Basic linux skills,Good verbal and written English communication skills.Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise :RedHat Certificates will be an advantage.Knowledge about Public/Private Clouds.Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues as required,DB2 LUW Databases management and administration (2 years experience required),Configuration, installation, maintaining High Availability solutions like HADR, TSAMP, HCAMP,CDC replication management.
