Gi Group is recruiting TAC Engineer for his partner, global information and communications technology solutions provider, in Bucharest.
Requirements:
English advance level;
Any other foreign language will be an advantage;
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
Familiar with TCP/IP & OSI protocol stack;
Knowledge of xDSL technologies, of switching technologies and protocols (Vlans, STP), and knowledge of network monitoring applications and protocols (SNMP, NMS);
Good knowledge of LAN switching technologies (ARP the principle, MAC address, VLAN, STP, Link aggregation), of routing concepts ( packet handling along the path, interpret the component of the routing table, VLAN routing, static routing, OSPF), and of infrastructure services ( DNS lookup, DHCP operations, VRRP, NAT);
Able to determine problems and deliver known solutions with a high level of customer satisfaction.

Tasks:
Handling customer service requests from all over Europe for Datacom and Secospace products (Routers, Switches, Firewalls & Security Gateways, WLAN devices and more)or from the physical layer up to the application layer or for access Network devices(SmartAX MA5600/ MA5800/ EA5600 , Echolife HG, and EG series).
Effectively utilizes moderate to complex lab setups to recreate and solve problems;
Acts as a technical expert and provides support on a worldwide.
