Team: Local Finance Team
The local finance team in Visma Software SRL is part of the local administrative team reporting to the Managing Director and Board and is responsible for all the accounting/fiscal/controlling tasks and financial (group and statutory) reporting related to the legal entity. Occasionally, the team is involved in additional/side projects in collaboration with other entities in the group.
We are a team of 6 members, split in two locations (Sibiu and Timisoara) and we are currently looking for a new team member with tax and accounting expertize to join us and bring added value in our upcoming projects and future challenges in fiscal/accounting area.
As a Tax and Accounting Specialist, you will be reporting to the Financial Director and your primary responsibilities will be to monitor and advice upon the day-to-day tax compliance obligations as well as ad-hoc tax issues as they arise, to be involved with larger tax projects, or projects requiring tax input, and assist during tax inspections/fiscal audits.
Key responsibilities:
Monitor the fiscal statutory reporting and related payments/obligations;Responsible for ensuring that activities/processes and reporting are performed in compliance with local tax legislation and regulations;Stay updated with most recent fiscal changes and new regulations through contact with consultants, participation in relevant conferences, self-study;Support the business by providing advice and review on different tax areas (corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, payroll and benefits, IC sales and acquisitions, etc.);Identify potential tax risks and propose solutions/improvements for mitigation;Coordinate/Support new projects in tax area (Eg. SAF-T implementation);Assist in Tax inspections/Fiscal audits;Collaborate with external partners, advisors and auditors. Job requirements:
We are looking for a person with at least 5 years of experience in accounting/finance, out of which at least 3 years of hands on experience in tax accounting area;Experience in working with large companies (groups / multinational companies) of 300+ employees; experience in service/IT companies is a plus;Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CECCAR or CCF certification is a plus;Very good knowledge, understanding and ability to apply specific legislation ( The Fiscal Code, Methodological Norms for applying the Fiscal Code, Fiscal Procedures Codes, Romanian Accounting Standards, IFRS rules, Company law) and relevant internal guidelines related to taxes;Proficiency in using Excel and/or Google Sheets;Advanced English (both written and verbal)Experience in project coordination and implementation nice to haveWe are offering:
