ServiceNow (regular) People Management (advanced) Scrum (advanced) Employment Contract, Warsaw (Inflancka 4A), hybrid work As the development lead, you will be responsible for managing a team of approximately 12 developers and testers working on the maintenance and implementation of ServiceNow, a leading IT service management (ITSM) platform that is heavily used throughout the KMD organization, and by KMD’s external customers. Close collaboration with the Danish Product Owner team is vital for obtaining success. Since we believe that technical background is crucial to understand our team’s daily challenges and obstacles, daily you are going to balance leadership skills, people management, and technical competencies. After your morning coffee you will be responsible for: Line Management: Lead and manage a team of developers and testers, providing coaching, mentorship, and guidance to help them achieve their goals.Foster a positive and collaborative team culture and ensure the team's professional development needs are met. Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain effective collaboration with stakeholders, primarily the Danish product owner team, business users,and other departments. Act as a point of contact for queries, concerns, or escalations related to the team's deliverables. Project Delivery:Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Support the teamin defining project requirements, timelines, and deliverables. Monitor progress, identify risks, and take necessary actionsto ensure project success. Process Optimization:Continuously assess and optimize development and testing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and delivery timelines.Identify areas for improvement, propose solutions, and implement best practices to enhance team productivity. Technical Oversight:Collaborate with technical architects and senior developers to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices,and quality guidelines. We are a GOOD match if you: Have IT team management experience.Have experience in driving IT projects (ability to translate business needs into IT tasks, structurization of effort, presentation and influencing skills).Familiarity with IT service management concepts, preferably with exposure to ServiceNow or similar platforms.Have a thorough understanding of a nearshore organizational set-up and are ready to travel from time to time (approx. 10% of your time) to Denmark.Have good communication skills.You are pragmatic as well as ambitious.Are self-driven.Are fluent in English. We will be a PERFECT match if you, additionally: Have experience in Scandinavian working culture.Do have a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects within scope, budget, and timeline constraints.Have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
