We’re searching for a Senior Team/Tech Lead! We require at least 10 years of experience :) The project concerns a well-known online cosmetics shop in the United States, renowned for its size and remarkable success. With consistent growth year after year, the company continues to expand its horizons. As they set out on the ambitious path of developing a state-of-the-art e-commerce platform, they are in search of an exceptional individual to assume the role of leading the offshore engineering team from a programming perspective. Responsibilities: As the Senior Team/Tech Lead, you will have a pivotal role in our project, working with custom web components written in JavaScript. Your primary responsibilities will include: -Building and leading the team: Establishing and nurturing a development team of highly skilled senior developers who share a passion for excellence. -Technical leadership: Implementing and maintaining the coding principles set by the company's Principal Engineer based in the USA, ensuring uniformity and adherence to the highest standards. -Code review and mentoring: Reviewing pull requests from team members and providing mentorship to enhance their core JavaScript and TypeScript skills, maximizing performance and efficiency. -Web component development: Developing and maintaining web components using pure JS/TS, occasionally leveraging frameworks when needed. -Technical excellence and architectural decisions: Ensuring the deliverables are in line with the company's coding principles and assisting team members in overcoming technical challenges to make optimal architectural decisions. Required skills: We are seeking candidates with the following skills: -JavaScript and TypeScript expertise: proficiency in pure JS/TS is paramount. Framework experience is valuable, but we prioritize exceptional JavaScript skills above all. Nice-to-Have: React.js, Angular, Node.js, Shopify Hybrid Work Environment: Our work environment combines the best of both worlds. You will have the flexibility to work both from our office in Cracow and remotely. Working Hours: Our standard working hours range from 10 AM to 6 PM, but we also offer some flexibility.
