Job Description

In this role, you will combine your deep understanding of technology and leadership skills. You will support PSI in-house software development team with the technical aspect of their jobs, explain new projects and troubleshoot any problems that occur. While remaining hands-on with technical tasks, you will use your leadership skills to train, motivate and guide your team members, set expectations, and ensure that everyone meets their targets.

The scope of responsibilities will include:

• Primary responsibility for architecting, developing and maintenance of business applications
• Process user requests for developing of new and support for existing IT systems
• Prepare documentation related to development and maintenance of business applications
• Track the development, maintenance and related tasks in the tracking system used within the department
• Follow the development standards applied within the department
• Follow the progress of development technologies and advance professional skills
• Line management of Programmers
• Train Programmers in relevant coding techniques, testing methods, new development technologies and practices
• Provide mentoring, support, and guidance to Programmers
• Prepare software development plans, including scoping, scheduling, testing and implementation

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• Significant experience in software development and testing
• Knowledge of C# language
• Knowledge of Microsoft .NET frameworks, technologies, and best practices
• Proficiency in building web-based and/or desktop applications
• Knowledge of web technologies including JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS
• Development of MS SQL functions, stored procedures, triggers, and other SQL objects
• Generating data queries using Transact SQL
• Knowledge of unit-testing, knowledge of other testing methods is a plus
• Experience in development of design specifications and functional requirements documentation
• Understanding of the entire software development life cycle
• BSc in computer science, software engineering or relevant discipline
• Full working proficiency in English
• Communication and leaderships skills
• Problem-solving and analytical abilities
