Responsible for ensuring the network’s high standards of performance and quality for several European VF OpCos by supporting several technical experts and dealing with a high degree of technological diversity and complexity:
• Provides coaching and support to the second line teams, ensuring they have clear directions and are able to configure complex topologies.
• Perform data configuration, software rollout and support integration activities with planning and delivery functions.
• Resolve difficult network configuration issues in any of fixed Access networks administrated by Network Operations.
• Provides recommendations to management for training and workshops necessary for the second line teams.
• Is updated with latest network fixed access technologies and provide technical guidance for second line teams.
• Participate in new projects as Network Operations representative, in order to assure projects evaluation, proper implementation , acceptance and handover to Operations department;
Advanced technical skills:
• Participate in complex configuration topologies for all networks administrated by Network Operations.
• Implements new procedures and operational processes for streamlining and optimization of activities to meet the KPI of networks administrated by Network Operations.
• Act as an Automation ambassador inside the team, develop and coordinate automation scripts/ implementations
• Finds different solutions and workarounds during special configurations tasks.
• Perform the impact and risk evaluations of the work orders execution.
• Schedule the configuration changes activities and correlate them with other time concurrent activities.
Notification, Escalation and Communication
• Escalate technical issues and provide guidance for solving as fast as possible.
• Reports to higher management critical situations.
• Provides notifications in due time and sends correct information regarding technical issues to all agreed groups
• Ensure communications with other departments or other OpCos to meet the agreed SLAs.
• Provides notifications and recommendations to management team regarding network dysfunctionalities or issues with other parties.
• Make periodical technical presentations to management team related to newest technologies and technical evolution.
Training
• Provide support and coaching to Network Operations teams, share knowledge within the team.
• Coaches 2-nd line teams for maintaining a high level of performance.
• Provides appropriate documentation to 2-nd line teams.
Qualifications:
Studies / Qualifications:
• University degree: Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology
• Good knowledge of English language (spoken and written)
• Good knowledge of German language (spoken and written)
Experience
• Technical expertise in telecommunication area 4-5 years
• Telecom experience in an international environment 4-5 years
• Experience in network configurations for new technologies 2-3 years
