For our Abbott Diagnostics Division we are looking for a talented, well-motivated person to join our filed support team in Romania as a Technical Service Specialist - Craiova based.Primary objective of the positionTheTechnical ServiceSpecialist isresponsiblefor providing level two support to our customer base – handling installations, complexrepairs, longer duration instrumenthardwareor software upgrades and providing basictrainingto customers and Abbott Ambassadors.Major accountabilitiesPerform new customers and laboratorysite inspectionsfor new contract / tender preparations and design for new installationsProvide level two service (complex serviceinterventionsrequiring more than four hours of labor)Installation of instruments, AbbottLink, andautomationPerform IQOQ (Installation Qualification Operation Qualification) procedures during and after installationAssist with customerbusiness reviewsSchedule, perform and documenthardwareandsoftware updates(TSBs) requiring more than 2 hours of labor timeDeliver basic customer operator introductorytrainingspost install or posthardwareorsoftware upgradePerform basic technical coaching andtrainingforTechnical ServiceSpecialistRequirements / Work experienceBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
