JS (junior) GitHub (regular) VSCode (regular) Tech documentation (master) English (master) Datagrok.ai, a company that builds a next-generation data analytics platform, is looking for a talented Technical Writer to help make our platform easier to use.You will be responsible for creating, improving, and maintaining technical content related to our products and services. Your duties will also include creating and sharing content to raise brand awareness on platforms like LinkedIn.In order to be considered for this position please send us a link to the material that you have personally produced. This must include technical documentation for web-based software, for example, release notes, API documentation, or product tutorial. If you can’t provide us with samples of your work, we will ask you to complete a test assignment.Responsibilities:● Create documentation for end users.● Create documentation for developers, with a focus on our JS API.● Actively participate in product development and improvement. For example, suggest UI/UX changes, report bugs, etc.● Produce video screencasts for training and documentation purposes.● Optional. Mentor and coach Jr technical writers. ● Optional. Deliver internal and external training, and collaborate with partners and clients.Requirements:● Excellent command of English● Minimum of 3 years of technical writing experience in IT/Software● Able to explain complex things in plain English● Basic knowledge of JavaScript or any other language● Able to work with a distributed team in the GMT+3 (Kyiv) and GMT-4 (New York) time zones.● You are a go-getter.
