Technology Risk & Control Specialist - 1st LOD, Risk, Resilience, Controls, Technology, ITIL, NIST, Financial Services - London/Hybrid - Permanent - £60, - £74, base + bonus + benefits My client, a leading Financial Services organisation are seeking a Technology Risk & Control Specialist to join them on a permanent basis in their London offices. You will be a vital part of the 1st Line Technology Risk function within their Chief Technology Office. Your main responsibility will be to enhance operational resilience and implement risk mitigation measures. This will involve identifying areas of risk, conducting assessments, presenting your findings to senior stakeholders, and proposing effective mitigation strategies. As you will collaborate directly with the Head of Control Assessments, strong stakeholder management skills are crucial to excel in this position. You will also be required to respond to the latest regulations and advise on best practices. Ideal skill set:Previous experience working as a Technology Risk & Controls SME from a large-scale financial services organisation or a Big 4 organisationExperience implementing technology risk frameworks and control measuresBackground/previous experience in AuditProven experience identifying and assessing non-compliance and risk, presenting these findings and proposing risk mitigation measures Have industry knowledge of ITIL, NIST, COBIT, and ISO Exposure to Agile, DevOps and Shift conceptsPrevious experience working with 3rd party vendors to align internal control policies This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a large Risk and Controls portfolio within a global organisation.
