Testing Team Lead is being sought to manage and oversee the testing effort for an IT organization's projects. The selected candidate will be responsible for devising test strategies and plans, guiding and monitoring the execution of test cases and procedures, and reporting on test progress and results. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with strong leadership and communication skills and a passion for quality assurance. What will you do – responsibilities: Gathering requirements from other teams (such as Business Technology Services) to ensure that the software being tested meets their needs and specifications Collaborating with vendors and other third-party providers to ensure that the testing process is smooth and efficient Managing the testing team, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing guidance and feedback Ensuring that the software is well tested using the latest technologies and tools for automated or manual testing, as appropriate Keeping up-to-date with developments in the field of software testing and adopting new approaches as necessary to improve the quality of the testing process Creating and maintaining testing plans, test cases, and other documentation related to the testing process Collaborating with other teams, such as developers, to identify and resolve issues that arise during the testing process Conducting reviews of testing processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary Providing regular reports on the status of testing efforts, including metrics on test coverage, defect rates, and overall quality Communicating with stakeholders, including project managers, product owners, and executives, to ensure that they are aware of testing progress and any issues that arise What are we looking for? University degree in Information Technologies (Computer Science, Software Engineering and Automation, Cybernetics or similar) or Strong Practical and Theoretical IT Background Knowledge and 3-5 years of experience in software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques, both manual and automated Knowledge and experience in quality assurance processes and methodologies, including defect management and test case management Knowledge and experience in programming languages and frameworks commonly used in software development, such as Java, Python, or .NET Knowledge and experience in using testing tools and technologies, such as Selenium, Appium, JMeter, and Jenkins Knowledge and experience in database management systems, SQL, and data analysis Knowledge and experience in the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and leadership skills Project management and planning skills, including the ability to estimate testing effort, plan and manage resources, and report on test progress and results Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team English - Fluent or Upper Intermediate (essential) Strong, mature personality, Self-confident, Self-motivated, looking for challenges, works independently and remotely Customer Oriented attitude Excellent time management skills for working in multitasking environments Willing and capable to travel to other JTI or JTI Business Partners locations as per each project’s requirements (Depending on the Projects’ schedule the time spent away from the home location may reach 10% of the total working time) Recruitment process: Thank you very much for your interest in the role.
