Sportradar is looking for an experienced Architect to further develop and implement the Architecture and Technical Strategy for the Crawler Tribe. Squads within the Crawler Tribe are focused on ingesting and aggregating data from external third parties, and then delivering it to internal consumers with sub-second latencies and 99.95% or better uptime. MISSION Develop the technical strategy with our tribe leadership and stakeholders Explore new technology opportunities in the marketplace and with existing vendors Help shape the technology platforms of our internal facing systems Ensure technical cohesion across our engineering teams Be a technology leader across the tribe YOUR PROFILE Lifetime learner, interested in understanding the technology state of the art Strong Positive and inclusive communicator and collaborator Pragmatic practitioner, able to balance technology purity within delivery constraints Strategic thinker, able to keep the long term goal insight whilst delivering today’s needs Strong Relevant architectural experience with a range of items from; Modern Java Development and practicesJavascript, TypeScript and modern website designcloud computing, e.g. AWS, Serverless, Kubernetes messaging systems, e.g. Kafka databases, e.g. AWS Aurora, MySQL, DynamoDBmodern methods, e.g. DevOps, Domain Driven Design, Lean, Agile It is not essential to have all these skills, but an aptitude and willingness to develop those you don’t know is key.
