Your day to day:Manages the specific project of TV care technologies in the transfer of administration, support and optimization activities of various software solutions within local operating customers in Europe for new regional and software operating teams or changes to existing software solutions on TV platform of local operating customers from Europe or on the centralized platform of the Vodafone Technology Group.Ensures the management and coordination of the implementation activities of the transformations of TV specific projects and computer programs of the regional development and operations centers that develop, test, implement and adapt the applications of the local operating clients according to their requirements, in accordance with Vodafone regional strategy.Implements IT transformations of customers in each country, while ensuring their alignment with the global strategy of Vodafone Technology Group, ensures management and harmonization of projects and programs at the regional level in terms of IT applications developed for each local customer (eg: analysis of technical specifications , development, implementation, integration, testing and acceptance of software and hardware solutions, etc.).Develops plans, analyzes, estimates and establishes the related priorities to be achieved within the regional IT projects, as well as the phases and execution terms of the programs and software applications of the local operating clients.Coordinates the clients' TV specific project managers within the IT and Telecom transformation programs. With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:• Execution and management of regional IT projects with specific TV of the clients• Organization and Coordination of project teams• Analysis - technical and business - and Reporting to the client and the direct manager• Management of project resources according to the mandate received from the client• Management of organizational transformation programs at regional level• Represents, at the IT project level, one of the interfaces with the engineering teams, as well as with the local operations teams• Professional Development• Coordinates extensive and complex programs for migrating activities from European customer operations to regional operations centers• Ensures the management of IT projects at regional level and of local operating clients, having as tasks: o identifying and managing risks, problems and dependencies, proactively intervening to remove barriers, o implementation of new procedures and processes within the regional projects, permanently following the optimization and efficiency of the software and hardware performance parameters of the clients' network at the defined quality standards, o estimating the costs of the projects for carrying out the activities of development and adaptation of the clients' IT systems, making recommendations regarding the definition of the budget lines, o Evaluating and ensuring the necessary personnel within the projects, maintaining within the budgeted limits approved by the client.• Presents reports to the directors of operations - Vodafone Group and customers in Europe - which reflect the state of implementation of the programs and projects in the portfolio, whenever necessary• Organizes regular meetings with project teams• Provides specific information for: Leadership Team, HR, Finance Technology• Efficiently manages budgeted resources, controlling project costs and providing the necessary support, tools and applications to maintain IT and telecom networks in accordance with customer quality criteria.• Permanently monitors the IT projects within the team and elaborates performance reports and development plans for all direct subordinates, including remedial action programs, if applicableWith these skills you are a great candidate:• Knowledge of telecommunications specific to digital television and over the internet• Experience in providing transformation programs and strategic IT projects• Knows and experiences with new products, platforms and TV technologies• Project management experience in the IT and Telecom industry• Team collaboration spirit and talent to obtain the collaboration of cross-functional project departments and teams (technology, HR, Finance, Legal, commercial)• Excellent communication and presentation skills, excellent management skills of the parties involved in the project, the ability to influence and deliver results through others• Ability to identify areas for improvement; experience in leading these improvements in a multidisciplinary organization• Commercial insight, the ability to generate benefits from the software they run and to achieve synergy between organizational functions• Effectiveness in managing project structures, processes and information systems• Leading and managing processes for customer satisfaction• Excellent English (written and spoken); other languages are desirable• Higher education in the field of Telecommunications• 3-5 years of experience in the IT or Telecom fields in the project management area• Solid knowledge of MS Office, MS Visio, MS Project• Fluency in English, both written and oral, several European languages are desirable• Ideal: PMP / ITIL Foundation / Prince / Scrum certification Sounds like the perfect job?
