Telenavis seeking a highly motivatedUX Engineerto help define the next generation of connected car software experience, maps and automotive interfaces.As aUX Engineerin the Automotive Design team you will work closely with product managers, engineers, as well as fellow designers tocreate map designs and shape our state-of-the-art rendering enginethat will shape the future of assisted and autonomous driving in connected cars for a rapidly expanding list of the world’s top automakers.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with fellow designers, product managers and engineers to produce prototypes and production softwarethat respond to both user and business needs.

Create UX requirements to develop the state-of-the-art rendering engine.

Createand maintainclear and thought throughmap styles.
-
Generate simple concept prototypes to illustrate and evangelize concepts.

Build visual designs that enhance the software experience.
-
Work side-by-side with engineers to ensure a proper implementation.

Become aware of all dependencies of a project that needs to scale.

Iterate based on team debates, feedback or stakeholder input.
Requirements
-
3+ years ofrelevantworkexperiencewithin softwareindustry.

Proficient in at least one of Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD,Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop.

Proficient inworking with code versioning tools, such as Git.
-
Good understandingof CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.

Relevant work with front-end development web programming languages or other programming languages is a plus.

Relevant UI / UX related design experience is a plus.

Aesthetic taste.

Great collaboration and communications skills.

Must be comfortable using English as your primary business language.

Experience building basic interaction prototypes to illustrate user experience ideas.
