Thevalue-added service (VAS) team is charge with implementation of a wide varietyof services that are add-on products to the basic core functions of mobiletelecommunications networks. Theresponsibilities of the engineers who are part of VAS team, refer to theactivities of studying and finding solutions to implement new services, designing,implementing, debugging and testing platforms and systems that providevalue-added services. defines services architecture and connectivity flows based on functional requirements and best practices;designs and maintains in-life updates for technical details on services flows;designs and enforces security policies afferent for VAS services;performs optimization and supervises in-life dimensioning evolution for services flows;evaluates options for technical evolutions on services flows;organizes and participates in testing for new technology evolution;issues WO (work orders) towards operational team for changes needed;ensures 3rd level support for operational incidents and changes;analyses technical solutions against business requirements;translates business requirements and business needs in technical specification.develop plans for telco cloud architecture evolution, anticipates the future network implementation, participate in solutions selection and RFIs/RFPs/RFQs preparation phasesperform technical and economical assessments for new NFVI and network orchestration and automation solutionslead technical and economical assessments of new technology introduction Technical Know-How:experience/ knowledge in designing VAS services;experience/knowledge in performing engineering or operational activities for VAS platforms;experience in working with Marketing & Sales departments for building up VAS services;experience in performing RFI/RFP for VAS services;experience in analyzing and evaluating technical solutions available on market from different VAS suppliers;experience/ knowledge of one or more mobile telecom VAS services; experience in writing HLD/LLD for VAS services;experience/knowledge of databases used by service platforms;experience/knowledge of monitoring, reporting and statistics methods required for VAS platforms;knowledge of planning and roll-outing of telecom characteristic services such as QoS, redundancy protecting;basic knowledge of IP networking concepts and models, routers, switches, firewalls configuration, TCP IP layers, routing protocols, HTTP protocol and IP security policies;experience/knowledge of Linux operating system;experience/knowledge in implementing and configuration of VPNs.5G Service Based Architecture (RAN/Core)Virtualization Techniques and applications in a cloud environment like (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker; OpenStackTMForum & APIs knowledgeScripting and programmingCI/CD best practices, deployment pipelines and test automation frameworksContinuous integration, continuous delivery, tooling zone Git, Jenkins, GitLabL2/L3 Network and Protocols and security implementation techniquesFamiliar with Standards (3GPP, ETSI, TMforum)Personal skills:University or Bachelor Degree in electronics, telecommunication or computer science;excellent written and verbal communication skills in English language;highly self-motivated and diligent;demonstration of diagnostic skills across abroad number of technologies and platforms (troubleshooting);problem-solving skills with an emphasis on resolution of complex technical problems and demonstrated ability to quickly understand complex systems;ability to work in a global team environment;time managementeffective communication Performance Bonuses – based on your results & the company’s;Loyalty Bonuses, if you extend your stay;Electronic Meal Tickets - as you imagine;Medical & Life insurance for you - facilities for your family, too;#WFH & Flexible hours;Professional GSM subscription;Personal GSM subscription, also [because we believe in communication!];Special grants on Smartphones & devices; discounts for Orange products & services;Development Platforms - Orange Learning, Trainings, Career Counselling, Coaching & Career plan mentoring;Wellbeing Programs – we support your Zen;& more!
