Provides materials, equipment, and supplies by directing receiving, warehousing, and distribution services; supervising staffWhat a typical day looks like:• Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures• Complies with local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.• Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.• Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.• Monitors volume of business and determines appropriate work schedule.• Sets productivity and establishes necessary controls to ensure objectives are met.• Monitors condition and maintenance of operating / material handling equipment.• Constantly monitors the efficient handling of shipments and receipts to create an error free culture.• Reviews the loading and unloading schedules to maximize efficiencies and reduce expenses.• Coordinate floor cycle counts, physical inventory and reconciling records.The experience we’re looking to add to our team,• Bachelor’s degree• 2+ years of experience in a similar position• Manufacturing experience• MRP - SAP, BAAN, ORACLE• FLEXFLOW• Ability to interface and communicate with different levels of the organizationHere are a few of our preferred experiences:• Microsoft Office proficiency• Advanced Excel skill level•  Excellent communication skills, Spanish is a nice to haveWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:• Full range of medical benefits, dental, vision• Life Insurance• Matching 401K• PTO• Tuition Reimbursement• Employee discounts at local retailersPF38#LI-PF1Job CategoryGlobal Procurement & Supply ChainIs Sponsorship Available?NoFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
