Water Resource Engineer/ Scientist in Bucuresti

Water Resource Engineer/Scientist IE Consulting is a small, fully Irish owned consultancy that focuses on all aspects of the water cycle. We are a team of Hydrologists, Hydrogeologists, Engineers and Geologists, who provide expert advice and engineering services to a range of clients from single householders to multi-national companies. We are seeking to recruit an Engineer or Scientist with 1-2 years experience into our surface water and engineering team. The role will primarily focus on hydrological assessment, hydraulic modelling of river systems and the preparation of Flood Risk Assessment Reports. In addition, the role will also include the design of foul and stormwater drainage systems, SUDs design and integrated constructed wetlands. The successful candidate will have a level 8 BE degree (honours bachelor s degree) or higher in civil/environmental engineering or a level 8 BSc degree or higher in earth and oceans sciences. The person will be able to demonstrate evidence of a strong technical ability, have good inter-personal skills, and be willing to work in a team on a number of projects. Preference given to candidates with a background in hydrology or hydraulic modelling software such as HEC-RAS or Flood Modeller Pro and other engineering software such as MicroDrainage, Autodesk Civil Design 3D & ArcGIS/MapInfo/QGIS.
