Linde GmbH, Sucursala Constanța Welding Supervisor (m/f/d) Constanța, Romania | req18430 What you will enjoy doing As a Welding Supervisor you will carry out visual inspections of performed welds and update SAP / CMS database, you will examine visually work in progress ensuring that all welding, pre-heating, heat treatment, bevels and any hardness testing are in compliance with the relevant codes and specifications, you will perform pipes line up check, ensuring that all spools' markings are compliant to the correct specification and that the material is in accordance with the specified material traceability requirements You will collect and manage/verify in an orderly manner documents certifying tests, controls and inspection documents, ensuring that all welding and testing related records form a complete package and reflect the As Built In addition, you will ensure correct implementation of Quality Control Plans/Approved Inspection Test Plans relevant to welding by the Branch, you will assist in the preparation of the QA/QC disciplinary file for final handover to the Client, verify the correct implementation and application of the Quality inspection database/spreadsheet and test report tracking and recording Furthermore, you will provide feedback about specific occurred cases to the Branch Management Team functions, you will deal with Third Parties, QHSE Manager, Supervisors on workshop and Linde functions for what concerns QC Welding and NDT matters, you will daily check, and prior to start the work, that environmental conditions are adequate, otherwise, you will promote measures to protect the work in accordance with all applicable safety standards You will report to the QHSE Manager and you will act as back-up for the QC Piping Supervisor for project material incoming inspection process and issue of As-Built isometric Drawings, also you will support the QHSE Manager for nonconformances reports, verifying conformity of the work to specified Quality Requirements will round off your profile What makes you great You have higher technical education, a minimum of three (3) years experience is required in the field International/European Welding Engineer - IWE (qualification according to SR EN ISO 14731 requirements) is needed for this role International Welding Inspector Qualification - IWI (desirable to have) Your accumulated experience in pressure vessel / piping construction and assembly made of stainless or high alloyed steel and / or aluminum for process engineering plants is beneficial You have outstanding communication and teamwork skills, along with good knowledge of English and PC operations Why you will love working with us Established in 2021, “Linde GmbH Sucursala Constanta” is Linde Engineering’s branch office in Constanta, Romania.
