Your profile
Responsibilities include:
- Ongoing enhancement and maintenance of an application including management of scope;
- Conducting strategic planning for the application;
- Identifying and managing technical projects necessary to ensure required and established service levels are maintained;
- Managing strategic capacity, consumption and performance management (Forecast and management based on business plans).
- Ensuring policy-compliance for dbRAMM, SOX, ASG, ISP, Audit;
- Managing software licenses, security certificates and contracts with service providers;
- Ensuring availability of all necessary application/service knowledge and documentation;
- Steering, overseeing and delivering the design and development of industrialization solutions into the production support teams for operations and monitoring;
- Performing reviews for all technical changes in close collaboration with RAD team representatives (both business and IT);
- Working with development center team to estimate work effort throughout different phases of the functional domain deliverables;
- Assisting with development of configuration/monitoring/packaging/deployment/automations;
- Identifying, documenting and communicating risks and issues discovered during delivery cycles;
Essential Skills:
- Apache / Tomcat - Server Application Setup, Servlet Technology;
- Strong programming background in Java;
- UNIX operating systems (Solaris and Linux);
- Experienced with: Java Server Technology, ANT, continuous integration;
- JavaScript;
- RIA;
- Knowledge of the spring framework;
- 3-4 years of work experience in IT;
- 1-2 years project management or application owner experience;
Preferable skills:
- Experience working with distributed development teams;
- Experience in finance products
