Automation Field Service Engineer in Târgu Jiu

Job Description Skills Provision is seeking Automation Field Service Engineers for positions across Europe. Job Title:  Automation Field Service Engineer Sector:  Engineering Contract Type:  Permanent Location:  Europe Key Responsibilities ·   Undertake the installation and commissioning of electrical and automated systems ·   Configure and troubleshoot PLC programmes, including Siemens TIA Portal, Allen Bradley, B&R, HMIs, and SCADA, to ensure optimal functionality ·   Conduct system diagnostics and resolve technical issues as required ·   Maintain detailed documentation of technical activities, including commissioning reports, fault logs, and service records ·   Ensure full compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards Requirements Qualifications: ·   A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering or a related discipline Experience and Skills: ·   A minimum of 5–10 years’ experience in testing and commissioning new equipment ·   Expertise in automation technologies, including Siemens, Elau, and Allen Bradley ·   Proficiency in industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP and Profibus ·   Experience with labelling machines, mixers/fillers, end-of-line equipment (conveyors, palletisers, and depalletisers), and inspection systems ·   Prior experience working with KHS machines would be advantageous ·   Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required ·   Possession of a full European driving licence would be beneficial ·   Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English; fluency in French would be an advantage Benefits Remuneration ·   Basic salary: €3,000–€4,500 per month (negotiable based on experience) Additional Benefits ·   A daily allowance of €50 when working on-site ·   Travel and meal expenses covered, with accommodation provided during project assignments ·   Provision of necessary tools and equipment ·   Opportunities for training and professional development Skills Provision is an ethical international recruitment agency, as such our adverts do not discriminate with regards to age, race, gender, colour, creed, religion, sexual orientation, disability and nationality.
